Geisha Wigs Review: Wren

Hello everybody!

Today I am back with another review, this time it is for Indie UK based Company, Geisha Wigs. Basically my best friend told me about Geisha Wigs, and they are pretty big in the Tumblr community. So I ordered the wig called Wren it was £20 plus p+p which brought it to £24.50. Price wise I thought it was really cheap considering most prices of wigs. Now my wig was out of stock, when this happens you have to pre-order your wig which is what I did. On the website it does say it can take up to 14 working days. From the day I ordered to the day I received my wig it was 17 working days which is about right considering processing times.

When I received my wig I could not be happier! It looks exactly like the photo if not better, and it's so natural! No one has asked If I am wearing wig. It's not shiny like some wigs and its really light so you shouldn't sweat too bad! Overall I really love this wig so much I've actually ordered a few others recently!

Here are two photos of them on me. I think this my new go to wig! If you would like to purchase this wig you can do so here: http://geishawigs.bigcartel.com/product/wren-brown-wavy-crimped-curls-natural-boho-cosplay-wig or if you would like to browse their huge wig selection you can do so here: http://geishawigs.bigcartel.com/  ALSO If you use ASHLEYGEISHA (in all caps) you can get 20% off your wig! (only to be used once per person) Have you tried Geisha Wigs? what do you think?

MAC Russian Red Lipstick Review

Hello Everyone,
So for my first review back I thought I would do a review on Russian Red by MAC. Generally speaking I think some MAC products are worth the money and other times I think its rather a waste.

MAC Russian Red in its original box

Russian Red in natural light

Now I am a big lover of Red lipstick, so I am very picky when it comes to a good red lippy. I found Russian red really easy to apply and very beautifully Matte. The lipstick is gorgeous on but it's staying power on the other hand is questionable. I found that this lipstick did not have the staying power that it should have for the price you pay for it, at a steep £15 I feel it fell a bit short. While I loved the colour and the Matte-ness of the Lipstick I felt it did not live up to its price tag.

PROS: Matte, easy to apply, very pigmented, and well its MAC.
CONS: Pricey, and does not stay as well as other cheaper lipsticks.

Overall, I like this lipstick but I don't think I would repurchase it unless the price was lower because I don't think its worth its hefty price tag. Have you tried MAC lipsticks? Which is your favourite?

Bourjois Rouge Edition in shade 07 review

Hey Guys!

I'm really sorry for the lack of posting lately, but my laptop has been playing up and not letting me go on but hopefully it is sorted now!
Today I will be reviewing Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in shade 07.
First off, I loved this color lipstick because it reminds me a lot of MAC "Girl About Town" and I love that lipstick! it is a very nice blue based pink lipstick that I think would suit alot of different peoples skin tones.
I purchased this product from my local tesco, it was on offer for £5.99 but normally it is £7.99.
I really found that this product had a really great pay off, and lasted for ages! I really love this shade for summer, and I cant wait to wear it more often!

Overall I really love this product and I think alot of people would too! have you tried this product? or anything similar? let me know in the comments! xx

my march favorites! (so far)

Hey guys,
so today I thought I would list a few of my new products that I really like. I've bought quite a few things but these are my favorites thus far!

1. Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in shade 004 black
First off this was £2.99 in Superdrug and comes in a couple different shades. The shade I purchased was 004 black. I know this may sound weird but I actually don't like this product as an eye brow pencil, I like it as a lip liner! I own way too many red lipsticks, and not enough darker shades. So what I do is use it as a lip liner and then blend it out with red lipstick and it goes a really beautiful dark red! Also I should add that this pencil is NOT black, it is a dark brown, I'm not sure how its even labeled as black? but anyways it works great for the whole "red velvet lipstick" that I love!

2. Barry M Eyeshadow Brush
This brush was £2.99 in Superdrug, and its worth that and a bit more! I don't really like eye shadow brushes as I am too picky with what I like in a brush. But this is REALLY good and applies eye shadow beautifully! Also at that price how could you go wrong?

3. MUA blush in shade 4
This Make Up Academy blush was £1 in Superdrug, and this brand is becoming my favorite for SO many things. This blush does not go on streaky or cakey, it is just the right texture. I just think for the price of MUA'S items you just get so much payoff its crazy! I have this in two other shades, but so far shade 4 is my go to blush.

4. MUA Hide & Conceal Concealer in shade Fair
This Make Up Academy concealer was £1 in Superdrug, and once again MUA pulls through! I am starting to wonder what this company actually can't make amazingly! I use quite alot of concealer when I do my daily make up, and this product passed my test! It is not really oily, and does not crease after being on for a few hours (not sure how it will handle the heat though).  I really love this, and I think this may be one of my new daily products.

5. MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer
this product was £2 out of Superdrug, and I LOVVVVVEEE it. I usually cringe at the price of good eye primers (urban decay, MAC, etc) so when I saw this I was so excited at the chance to maybe save some money. I was very skeptical when I applied this as the color of the product is almost clear, so I figured it would not work great. I am really glad I purchased this because I was so wrong, even though the product's color is a bit un usual it works GREAT, and makes such a difference!

So those are some of my march favorites so far! have any of you tried any of these products? what are some of your new favs? let me know! xxx

Review of MUA highlighter!

hello all!
So sorry for the lack of posts, life has been a bit crazy lately! I've recently done quite a big make up haul so I will be posting more regularly!  Anyways, Today I will be reviewing Make Up Academy's new product " Undress your skin shimmer highlight". When I first saw this product I was REALLY excited because I have not found alot of brands that do a good highlight at a decent price. When buying this product I really did not know what to expect because MUA is a bit of a hit and miss with their products. After buying and swatching I really really love it! for only 3 pounds you really can't beat it! i use it to highlight down my nose, my cheeks, and anywhere else you want to show a bit more! Also I've found that it stays quite well and does not sweat off during the day.
when applied with no primer

PROS: very cheap, available in super drug, stays for a long time.
CONS: packaging is a bit cheap, but that is it!

so get out there and try this amazing highlighter! has anyone tried this product? what are your thoughts?

Attention fellow bloggers I need your help!

Hello everyone! ,
I need some advice for a product and I thought where better a place then my blog? Anyways, I've recently cut my hair quite short like pixie short. I have quite thick flat hair that doesn't frizz or do anything really, but i would like a product I could put in my hair to give it a textured messy look. I have tried a few but none of which worked in the least. Can anyone recommend a product they like and may work? Thank you for all your help in advance!

my first Graze box!

Hello everyone,
Today I am back with a review of the new Graze box! So recently I was in superdrug and saw I had a voucher for Graze on my receipt. It was for a free box including shipping costs so I figured I'd try it.
When you join Graze you go down a list a mark things you like and things you don't like. After that you will get a snack box with four different types of snacks every week or bi weekly if you choose. Also you do have to put a debit card on file, and they take the box fees out the day before your scheduled day (which you can cancel anytime).  All of the snacks in your box are healthy and some even under 100 calories. After your first free box they are £3.89 which isn't *that* bad for healthy snacking, especially if its only a one off. I was a bit skeptical trying this because I myself am not really a big healthy eater.

I actually really enjoyed this treat! I think weekly would be too often to get them so I will stick to every other week. But the snacks are so tasty, and you dont feel like you are eating healthy. I think its so easily accessible (it comes in the normal mail), and a great treat every now and then!
If you would like to try a free box (no strings attached) heres a voucher code they gave me to give to people for a first box free!    The code is: L1Z233H    let me know if you try it out! by the way I would like to say I am in no way sponsored or anything with Graze and all these opinions are my own.

Bottom line, I think Graze is a great thing to try and for free why not? I personally loved these treats and I think most people would too!

MUA (Make Up Academy) review, lip stick in shade "bare"

Hello everyone,
I know it may seem like my reviews are becoming a bit repetitive with my past two reviews being MUA as well, but with a recent haul I did I figured I'd review each item as I got around to trying it out myself. So anyways, today I am reviewing MUA's lip stick in shade "bare". If you have read my previous posts I basically say how much I overall LOVE anything that MUA has brought out thus far, and that I have tried.
Based on first impressions I loved this lip stick because it was only £1, and who doesn't love a bargain.?!
this is the packaging and a swatch of what it looks like on my hand.

It is a really beautiful nude glossy shade, and after a few hours it was still on and still glossy! Its not overly pink or chapped looking (for my skin tone anyways) this has become my new go-to nude lipstick.

Overall this product exceeded my expectations by far, And I would buy this product again in the future.
PROS: The price obviously, easily accessible online or from superdrug, long lasting, and great for olive like skin tones.
CONS: May be too glossy and not matte enough for some peoples preferences. Packaging isn't the *best*, But for £1 who cares?

have you tried any other shades from this company? let me know.

review of MUA (Make Up Academy) eyeshadow "undressed" pallete

hey guys! i'm back with another MUA review from my recent superdrug haul! up next is the eyeshadow pallete called "undressed". i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who noticed it looks an awful lot like another pretty popular pallete.....*cough* Urban Decay's naked pallete *cough*. MUA has a couple of pallete's that looks so seriously similar to Urban Decay's "naked" & "naked 2" pallete. anyways, when purchasing this product it was only £4 so i figured there was NO way it would live up to the "Naked" hype. although, I was very pleasantly surprised with this product. the shimmers are gorgeous! the only thing i'd fault at all with this is the matte shadows (there's only two) aren't as pigmented as they *could* be but they are decent and for £4 you can't really beat it.

I used shades number 6 and number 7 to do my look today. i'm also wearing MUA'S blush, but I will review that in a later post. the pay off with this is seriously so amazing. I've had them on for 6 hours or so

bottom line, I would buy this pallete again, over and over. the pay off is amazing and the price is amazing.

PROS: affordable, great quality, accessible, great selection.
CONS: two shades aren't as great as they could be, but that is basically the only con.

MUA (make up academy) matte perfect foundation review

I've recently learned of a brand called Make Up Academy or MUA. All of their products are SO cheap so I always figured they were bad quality young teen make up. Well recently after snooping around Youtube I saw ALOT of positive feed back about it so I decided to buy a few bits and try them out. first up I tried MUA's new Matte Perfect Foundation my shade is in "natural".
my shade was in natural, there are 4 different shades all together  I believe.

this is a swatch of it on my hand (i don't have any primer or anything  underneath)

when I first swatched this on my hand I thought it would be quite good as the coverage looked good and not *too* thick or cakey. unfortunately I was wrong, Although the coverage is quite good once its on it takes ALOT of product and it doesn't spread very well with a foundation brush OR a sponge.
PROS: cheap, good coverage once its on, as a variety of skin tone shades.
CONS: takes WAY too much product to get even coverage, does not spread easy at all which makes it really hard to apply.

overall I would not really recommend this product to anyone unless they were on a budget and really could not afford anything more expensive, but even then I think Collection 2000 (now called collection) has a better Matte Foundation in the same price range
.has anyone else tried this product? what do you think?
