review of MUA (Make Up Academy) eyeshadow "undressed" pallete

hey guys! i'm back with another MUA review from my recent superdrug haul! up next is the eyeshadow pallete called "undressed". i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who noticed it looks an awful lot like another pretty popular pallete.....*cough* Urban Decay's naked pallete *cough*. MUA has a couple of pallete's that looks so seriously similar to Urban Decay's "naked" & "naked 2" pallete. anyways, when purchasing this product it was only £4 so i figured there was NO way it would live up to the "Naked" hype. although, I was very pleasantly surprised with this product. the shimmers are gorgeous! the only thing i'd fault at all with this is the matte shadows (there's only two) aren't as pigmented as they *could* be but they are decent and for £4 you can't really beat it.

I used shades number 6 and number 7 to do my look today. i'm also wearing MUA'S blush, but I will review that in a later post. the pay off with this is seriously so amazing. I've had them on for 6 hours or so

bottom line, I would buy this pallete again, over and over. the pay off is amazing and the price is amazing.

PROS: affordable, great quality, accessible, great selection.
CONS: two shades aren't as great as they could be, but that is basically the only con.

    1. Thank you so much! And no not at all! I've had it done twice (one of which I did myself) but I also have 10 tattoos and my lip piered so my pain tolerance is quite high!

  3. MUA eyeshadows are amazing, I agree with what you said in your post on the foundation, that for the price you would think it was some kind of teeny bopper brand but they're really, really good. I don't think I would waste my time on a foundation THAT cheap tbh and your review has only confirmed that but the eyeshadows are really good, i have about 6 palettes and 2 singles, and I just bought a couple of the lipsticks today and they're fantastic as well. I use shade 6 blush which is very pigmented as well. Tbh you have to be careful not to get that TOO bright. I've heard that their liners are not too good though. My next trip into town is gonna involve more MUA lipsticks, definitely. There's a red one with gold glitter in which I neeeeeed!
Ok, I'm finished licking MUA's arse now lol

    1. i feel the same way! i have their blush in shade 4 and i really love it! its not streaky or anything its really lovely. i also have a few of their lipsticks which are just as amazing. in my local superdrug mua doesnt even have like a makeup bit its on like a rolling cart in the back of the store. so most people most under estimate it! i dont like their lip booms thats probably the *only* thing i wont buy again. im glad i found someone who likes it as much as i do! im looking forward to buying even more of their palletes in the future!
